Successful MSE-Forks' launch at NA 2010

Roll psuhpullsSuccessful MSE-Forks' launch at NA 2010MSE-Forks and its American and Canadian dealers launched a new push-pull concept for slipsheet handling at NA 2010 in Cleveland (26–29 April 2010). As well as Roll PushPull, MSE-Forks also exhibited its patented RollerForks® and Telescopic Forks – well-known KOOI-ReachForks® products on the European market, but relatively new to the North American market.

MSE-Forks aims to become a major player in the field of palletless transportation. The company will be launching several unique products in the near future including a unit for handling long loads inside containers. We will save more information about this for a future newsletter! The Roll PushPull (patent pending) has several major advantages over current systems including:
  • Good line of sight between separate units.
  • Units can be laterally adjusted independently of one another to distribute loads evenly – hydraulically or mechanically.
  • The Equalizer-System principle guarantees that both units extend and retract in unison.
  • The principle behind the Equalizer-System ensures that the force is applied to the cylinder requiring the most force.
  • A single unit can be used for small, light loads.
  • An adapter plate can be connected to link the two faceplates.
  • Folding forks make it easy to engage slipsheets.

Saving Time with Roll PushPulls

Saving Time with Roll PushPullsUsing the unique combo – PushPull + RollerForks – it is now possible to load and unload containers and/or trailers with loads stacked on top of one another faster than ever before. RollerForks are ideal for lifting loads stacked directly on the floor because it acts as a fixed reference point for turning the rollers. If loads are not stacked directly on the floor, e.g. two-high, then the push-pull mechanism can be used. As soon as the load has been manoeuvred onto the RollerForks, it can be transferred easily onto an in-house pallet using the RollerForks. This method saves a lot of time because the push-pull mechanism does not have to be extended or retracted.

The new Roll PushPull will be launched in August 2010.

MSE-Forks raffled off three Flip videos during NA 2010 and would like to congratulate the three winners:
  1. Elizabeth Moore – Support Services Group Chief – Defense Distribution Center/ Robins Air Force Base (Robins, Georgia)
